Ectoparasites or fleas and ticks are one of the few problems that can not only affect your pet but the whole family.

Signs for fleas

Some of the signs you can expect if your pet has fleas are as follows:

  • Dermatitis
  • Excessive scratching, nibbling or licking
  • Fur loss
  • Scabbing
  • Flea droppings in coat

An on-going, preventative program to keep your pet and your family free from both live fleas and flea eggs is highly recommended.

Signs for ticks

Ticks and tick bites can have mind to severe symptoms on your pet such as:

  • Excessive scratching
  • Chewing on nibbling on skin
  • Inflammation
  • Fever
  • Lethargy
  • Loss of appetite

Ticks can also carry disease that can infect your pet such as tick paralysis, Lyme Disease, ehrlichiosis & encephalitis. If your pet suffers from any of these symptoms, a thourough check-up is highly recommended.
